Special Events, Workshops, and Retreats
"Mindful Movement and Meditation"
Cultivate awareness of the subtle life-force energies that flow through you and all of Nature through these contemplative, yet dynamic practices. These workshops will combine slow flow asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath-work), and meditation. There will be plenty of time for silent inward journeying, accented by offerings of poetry, sacred text, and guided visualization that bring us into a deepened experience of the ever-changing present moment. No experience necessary for the meditation portion of the class, though some experience with yoga asana will be helpful.
